In a world of sort-by-price, it’s
easy to get caught up in
thinking the only way to
differentiate is to charge less.
The problem with that is two-fold:
• If you live by price, you’ll die by
price. Competing on price alone is
a downward death spiral.
• Competing on price leads to low
margins. Inevitably, low profitability
leads to a diminished customer
experience.
